Frequently asked questions:
What if I am coming alone? No problem, you will have a bunch of new friends immediately! If you want to room with another person of the same sex, I try my best to accommodate you. Many attendees come solo and find that they are among kindered spirits.
Can I come early, stay later? Yes, I would suggest tacking on a few days, either before or after to explore the Kona side of the island. Of course you will need to pay and arrange on your own but I am happy to give you suggestions.
Can I bring my children? children over 13 are allowed, they will be charged the same as an adult.
Do I need to be experienced? No, I have many attendees that join and have never done yoga.
Should I bring cash? It is always good to travel with a little cash in hand, good for the farmer's markets and gratuities if needed.
How do I get there? You want to book your flight to Hilo International Airport (ITO)
How is the weather? Beautiful! Usually 75-90 degrees F, throughout the week.
Is airfare included? No, airfare, massage treatments and gratuities is additional to the retreat fee.
What is a yoga retreat? It is a time for You to disconnect from your everyday life. A time to nurture yourself with yoga classes, massages, adventure and relaxation.
Do I need to attend all the yoga classes offered? No, come to as many or as few as you like, this is your retreat.
Will there be free time? There will be plenty of free time to do whatever you choose
I am gluten-free, vegan, etc, can I still eat there? Yes, please let me know your diet restrictions.
Will there be alcohol/coffee? There is coffee every day. You are welcome to bring wine for dinner.
Are Laundry services available? Yes, there is a washer and dryer at the house.
Do I need to bring my own yoga mat? No, there are yoga mats available to rent at the studio.
